Community Support

HOW WE GIVE BACK

United Source is involved with various nonprofit organizations supporting the arts, education, the environment, human services, and public benefit to foster community involvement and entrepreneurship. To date these endeavors have led us to supporting elementary school entrepreneurial awareness programs, college scholarship awards, youth hockey teams, children’s health initiatives, dealing with loss and adversity, and our veterans.

Below is a list of the organizations we support:

“Investing in our children’s future by preparing them for success is crucial to the success of our community.  Junior Achievement is committed to helping our students thrive by providing relevant personal finance and work skills training and connecting them to business mentors and career paths through real life simulations and on the job work experience. We are so grateful to Michael and Marilyn Giordano and United Source for their support of our mission.”

Laurie Sallarulo, President & CEO, Junior Achievement of South Florida.

“On behalf of Nova Southeastern University, it is my pleasure to thank you for your recent philanthropic pledge to establish the Michael J. Giordano Promising Leaders Scholarship Award in the Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship.  Your generosity will not only provide vital financial support to deserving individuals; it will further strengthen our university by helping us retain talented students.”

George L. Hanbury II, PH.D. President/CEO

“The Florida Panthers Foundation is proud to count United Source and Mike Giordano among our generous contributors. Together we are working to address community needs with a focus on the four pillars of our foundation: veterans, youth education and wellness, youth hockey and protecting the endangered Florida Panther species. Thank you Mike, for stepping up and helping us to work toward uniting our community.”

Matt Caldwell, Florida Panthers President and CEO

“When crisis and trauma touches our lives people may not know it, but they have a choice. Too many people are pushed in the path of isolation. Hold the Door for Others, (a 9-11 inspired nonprofit) helps people grow through adversity and heal in a healthy way. Mike Giordano and United Source’s generosity has helped us support our initiatives for many years. Each contribution makes a large impact on the number of people we can reach. Thank you Mike and United Source for making helping others part of your business.”

Dr. Rob Fazio, President and Co-Founder, Hold the Door for Others
